This session will provide a high-level overview of “Project Success through Leadership” and discuss how a technical specialist can transition into a leader. The session explores core concepts such as project fundamentals and  the success formula.It will share industry case studies, challenges, opportunities, and how these concepts apply to a technical specialist’s daily life.

About David Jenkins: 

David has over 30 years of industry experience working around the world with global companies. He holds a Mechanical Engineering Degree, a Postgraduate Diploma in Commerce, and started his career as a Fitter and Turner. For the past 12 years he has run a successful consultancy business specialising in project facilitation. David’s  true passion lies in aiding technical specialists, individuals who possess both academic knowledge and practical  experience, in achieving project success. Over time, he has authored several books on this subject, chronicling his own journey and that of others who have realized that success is driven not just by technical proficiency, but also by our ability to engage and connect with people. As an introvert, he initially struggled with this aspect, however, with  dedication and guidance, he has honed his skills and crafted a framework and training program that he now shares with  others.
